Comments: What's up Moe? I'm trying to pick my step game up Chicago style like. I wanted to ask is there a certain count in footwork like when I see you in your videos when you hold your dance partners hand and you both be scuffling your feet going side to side. I want to learn that shit. I am asking is there a way to learn that shit. It is some mack shit. Let me know.
Thanks, Michael
Moe,
I just have to say something about the music on your website.
I used to enjoy the music on your website tremendously. The music
sounded like Mellow Khris or DJ Raphael was on the box, but since the
current DJ has taken over, in my opinion the song selection has fallen
off. When he brings in a song to mix it into the previous song, it is
off beat making it hard to listen or dance to. Even the MLK and Obama
speeches he plays come in at the wrong times. I can't be the only person
who has noticed this.
If he is new to DJing, it really shows.
Just one man's opinion.
I hope all is well.

Comments: Couple #2 were best at fulfilling the categories to be judged. Showmanship, presentation. For some reason though neither of the two couples really "did it" for me. Maybe just a mood I'm in but nothing made me go WOW!!!!
Couple #2: The whole dance was kinda "over the top". That platinum wig was annoying, as were the gloves. She outshined the male TOO MUCH, it seemed SHE was leading. Not a good thing in Walking.
Couple #1: "Walked" which was nice to see but there was no creativity or showmanship to their dance.
Therefore, have to give it to couple #2.
I would have to believe that Walking is very hard to judge, it has to come from the emotion displayed and I didn't feel any REAL emotion coming from the couples. #2's emotion seemed "forced" or like acting, and couple #1 just.... Walked --- not a lot of emotion felt, kinda boring. I believe the audience's lukewarm reaction, speaks to my points.
Comments: I heard that six count is smoother than eight count is
this true?
The movement is the same but the count to me, makes the eight count
choppy. I'm make sure we talk about it on the next Real Talk.

Comments: This one was real hard. I finally chose Tykmyn, and his women.
Though I'm a purest and did not like the line dancing they did, I still
saw just enough trio steppin' to give them the victory!
The other trio was fantastic, but for entertainment value I think
Tykmyn's trio dance was slightly better.
First let me say I really appreciate your Real Talk and everything
that you are doing. You are a true innovater.
OK. I just watched Episode 3 and why do I have to dance to a song I dont
like? Isnt it about having a good time and connecting to the song. If I
don't like the song that is hard to do.
Also, it is so easy to say that we (beginners) should feel comfortable
just dancing with the heavy hitters. It is very initmidating when you
are new to dance with folks like yourself, Tyk. Slick Rick, and oh my
God Dre. I have been steppin a couple of years and some of that has
subsided and i have danced with all of you. But in the beginning it is
hard. Not all men are as gracious and will not dance with a beginner and
that goes for women not dancing with men who are beginners. However I
have seen this more so outside of Chicago.. I always have a great time
dancing in the Chi......

Comments: Wow, this was a hard one! I am not a BIG fan of same sex
Steppin', however, "I'll let you slide tonight" as Luther would say.
The clear winner, in my opinion, was the traditional trio. There was
some very nice creativity and a smoothness that was TRUE CHICAGO. The
male was "like butta" and represented to the max! FINALLY, females were
given an opportunity to showcase themselves and if they'd had some of
the moves of the non-traditional trio the dance would have been da bomb.
But, they did not. They were awright, nice and smooth, but just awright
when given the floor. Perhaps that was the idea.. I just wish they had
done a little MORE. However, overall, it was a great dance routine; fun
to watch and made me smile. That's a good thing
The lady steppers executed turns that were much more complex and daring
than the 1st trio. And, as I said, had moves that made you wanna watch
them. Alas, their routine had too much "line dancing" in it, for my
taste. Also, the lack of intimacy was a problem for me. No intimate
holds or embraces, which I think is an essential element in Steppin,
especialy, in a performance.
Overall, I enjoyed both routines very much. But somebody's gotta win and
somebody's gotta lose. (smile)

Comments: I voted for Al & Tamara. I thought they had more creative
moves. Though I thought they were very smooth, I didn't think some of
the moves suited the woman. Maybe it was the floor that didn't allow her
to spin as easily. She looked a little stiff, but overall, they
performed well together and kept my attention. Her smile was great.
The other couple featured the guy TOO MUCH and you know I don't like
that. (smile) I believe the woman should have some play-time in there
too. Plus the camera angle kept her out of sight a lot of the time when
they were dancing apart. Maybe too much dancing apart. I liked their
move at the end but there wasn't enough of that kinda of couple
creativity. He is a good dancer who looks to be having fun. It was fun
watching him, but as a couple, I was not impressed.

Good morning Moe,
I have been looking over your site. I have also been checking out other
steppers on youtube. You have one of the smoothest styles I have ever
seen. I am very interested in learning to step from a Master Stepper
(you). I really wish you would teach somewhere on the Westside. You know
another suggestion I have for you, consider teaching an after hour
steppers class in the downtown area. Do a little advertising of classes
in the downtown area and I believe you can drum up more business it
could be pretty lucrative. You know you may also consider hooking up
with corporations for holiday parties, everyone is festive and wants to
have a good time. What better way to enjoy than by stepping. You would
also reach a broader audience and I would certainly be in the place. See
how I figured it all out for you. (smile) Anyhow, I am quite interested
in the classes, but I don't have a partner. Is it possible to take the
classes without having a partner. I don't want to take online classes or
really watch tapes. I am better at learning hands on. I know a few
others that are also interested in taking some stepping lessons here on
the Westside. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a wonderful
weekend.
Carmelita
Good morning Carmelita!
Hope all is well. I use to teach a class on the
westside. If I can find a location in the downtown area or westside, I
would consider teaching a class in the area again. Any suggestions? Also
if your interested in organizing a workshop, let me know. No you do not
need a partner to learn how to step. There are more than enough men on
the steppers scene for you to dance with. I've attached a flier for my
set tomorrow. You should try to make it. If you do, make sure you come
and introduce yourself to me. Would love to meet a future stepper.
Online lessons and DVDs are good also. they help to reinforce

Skool should be judged together and New Skool and New Skool should be
judged together to make it fair. I like how Theo and Candace dance, but
they do two different things. Keep doing what ya doing!
You Be The Judge Comment Comments: I'll start by saying that unfortunately I come from a non
stepping city, but I have been studying this dance by getting my hands
on any video and contest footage that I can. It's a mild obsession. All
four couples amazed me!
I think that T&M took the first matchup, because after watching them
about four times I was amazed at the moves that he can lead her through
and make it look smooth and effortless. Thats a degree of showmanship
that leaves out theatrics. E&T were very, very good, I got a more
romantic feel from the two, but I was more moved by the other
performance. I think that Tic tends to be the man to beat and folks like
to vote for the underdog.
K&S BROUGHT IT!!!! They got the heck down...I actually think that they
could have given T&M a run for their money if they had more showmanship.
Sabrina did not smile once. I would have been grinning from ear to ear
when he didnt drop me on my head in that one dip! Just one womans
opinion. All of the couples were SUPERB.

Comments: I absolutely enjoyed Eric and Tina's performance. Let us
remember that we are dancers first and steppers second. The one person
out there who feels s/he can knock that performance is living in
HATERVILLE. It was creative, smooth, original and very entertaining! I
like the other couple too! They were very smooth and had some creative
moves as well, however, they were TOO original. They stepped, Eric and
Tina PERFORMED. It's a competition people! We step everyday and compete
once or twice per year. They took it to another level when it counted.
"New Skool" is EXACTLY what they brought to the table. There was a
previous comment made about bringing latin dancing into stepping and
originality in doing our own thing, what's our own thing, the jitterbug,
a little African dancing? Seriously. You must have missed the memo. The
rule was that the couples could incorporate "other" moves as long as it
was primarily a steppin' routine. They stuck to the guidelines and
delivered a standing ovation performance. They didn't need to place with
the judges, the crowd that evening and the ONLINE judges count more than
any trophy. We all witnessed a great performance that night and it's
only fair to give credit where credit is due. Eric and Tina,
CONGRATULATIONS on NOT placing. You were on your own level. You danced
beautifully!

Comments: Okay..... both couples were ON IT. I chose Kirk & Sabrina
because they danced more of a couple's dance. (still think he pulls her
too hard, he needs to work on that) Otherwise, they were smooth and
flowed nicely, as always.
However, and that's a BIG HOWEVER, in my opinion the other couple had a
more difficult music selection. K&S's music was smooth throughout and
allowed their dancing to take on that flavor. The other couple had some
rap-inspired mess and it really took away from their dancing.
Note to DJ... play the same style music for each couple. If it's
rap-inspired, or jazz-inspired, it should be the same style of music for
all contestants.
Any DANCER will tell you, YES you can step to ANYTHING, BUT, the style
of music makes a difference in how you dance and flow with the music and
how you interact with your partner.
I am not a fan of the Latin-dance inspired drops being added to
steppin', can't we create some of our own, with a more soulful feel???
It looks hectic when added to steppin's smooth ride. It somehow doesn't
seem to "fit". At any rate, I suppose it provides showmanship, and they
BOTH had ample moves of this sort.
Again, I believe the 2nd couple was left at a disadvantage by the choice
of music they had to dance to and, they deviated from the "lane rule" as
well. (pet peeve of mine)
Gotta read the other comments to see why darn near 90% of the folks so
far chose K&S, the dances weren't THAT DIFFERENT!!

Comments: I thought that Eric and Tina should have won; however they
seen to have more Latin moves in their dance. I am not saying that it
was not stepping, but I do see the influences of other dance styles in
stepping. I have notice that stepping has been in transition for the
last four or five years- there are a lot more turns in the dance. I
would like to see a category of stepper over 60 since I am 63. There are
a number of changes I would recommend- I do think that the judges should
represent various parts of the country as opposed to all judges from
Chicago. I would also recommend that the dancers adhere to the rules of
the dance.
Moe's Reply:
Thanks for the comment. I agree with what your saying. However, you must
keep in mind that the category they danced in was "New skool original".
That means you can pretty much do as you wish. The only rules where that
1 foot must be on the floor at all times and no props. Understanding
that, do you still feel the same?

Comments: Question to Moe: At what point does originality take over from
the dance and it's no longer stepping? You can add water to wine only so
much before it's not wine anymore. We need to be cognizant of that and
not let that line be crossed.
Among professional dancers, on television and competition, there are
rules for all of those dances. There is no grey.
That being said, I felt Tic and his partner stayed within those
parameters of stepping. Both couples were very entertaining but that's
not what the competition was all about.
Moe's reply:
Thanks for the comment. I agree with everything you said. However, the
rules for that category are different than original style stepping. that
category is call new skool original witch allows the dancer to
incorporate other dances. I say it's nothing more than free style. With
free style anything goes. We told the contestant that you can't use
props and one foot must stay on the floor at all times. That's it. Now
understanding that, do you still have the same opinion?

performance and footwork were excellent. They danced as a team!

Comments: The official judging was a miscarriage of fairness and will
only serve to undermine the credibility of our art as well as the
Majestic Gents Organization. This must seriously be addressed and Eric
and Tina must be compensated for the outstanding performance given at
this Event.

Thanks for the comment. I'll pass it on. Every year it seems like the

Comments: Both couples could Step and looked great.
The deciding factor, for me, was the 1st couple performed as a "couple".
Both of them showed their dancing skills. They used the entire floor and
were polished, putting on a great show TOGETHER.
The other couple, however, was limited because the male did not allow
the female to show her "stuff". She was relegated to being a "prop" in
his routine. I'm sure she's got more on the ball than what she was
allowed to show. There was no "couple performance", it was clearly "all
about him". If it were a contest merely about the males, I'd say "he
won". But it was a couples contest..... and the 1st performers were the
better "couple".

Comments: It would be interesting to see steppers who are more with the
"old school" versus newer style. I also want to say that I think Eric
and Tina had more of a latin flair, which is fine, but when you watch
for actual steppin' moves, they lacked the smoothness of the other
couple.
Moe's Reply:
Hello Cheron. Thanks for the comment. I would agree if this category was
for original old skool. However, the category is original new skool
which was designed to allow the contestant to incorporate different
dance styles and do there thing. For the past few years you've seen new
skool steppers start changing there styles. This category was create
just for that. Now that you understand the category, take another look
and tell me what you think.

Greetings,
I enjoy dancing. I like that each person when they perform the art of
stepping can create a amazing style that is competitive when applicable
and fun. Stepping is not only the steps of six and eight but it is
feeling the music. Since I decide to commit on You Be The Judge I will
have to pick Tic Man and Monique. I watched them dance and they were
feeling the music. They looked good and they delivered a dance that was
smooth and very pleasant to watch.
Moe's Reply:
Thanks for the comment. I call Tic Man "Baby Jesus" because he's way
before his time. People will be studying this WLSC DVD for years to
come. By time they pick up certain moves, he'll be on another level.
Keep on stepping.

Hey you! Good morning. Yes E got down but, I can't give him 1st place.
Westside Mike was a BEAST! I don't know what other clip to put up there
next to his. I can't. He took 1st place. Didn't win it! Took it! You
know I'm a fan and I a big fan of Tic Man but, that night, Mike did his

I'll be putting up clips from everyone, Don't know who I'm going to put
up there with Westside Mike's clip. You know I don't get involved with
the rest of that stuff. I call you baby Jesus because you are one of the
major innovators of stepping today and tomorrow. It's just stepping. You
know when your on top everyone is going to try to knock you down. I post
clips. I don't get involved with the rest of that stuff. That's why I
don't post my opinions on anyones style. You have skills and I have
skills. Everyone likes who they like. At the end of the day, it's just
stepping. See you on the set.

You Be The Judge Comment
City: St. Louis, MO
Comments: It was clear to me that Eric and his partner "out-stepped" Tic
and his partner. The quality of the choreography was outstanding, the
overall presentation was appealing and exciting and the so called
"salsa" did not appear until later in their segment. No doubt, the Tic
Man is an excellent incumbent, but seems to rely on moves he knows best
which causes him to step back into the familiar, if you will. I
anticipated what turns he was going to do even before they were executed
and I saw them repeated. Obviously, the Tic Man and others are
considered the City's stepping elite and rightfully so, they are dynamic
and entertaining and many "Tic fans" expect to see him perform because
they are comfortable with his presentation – they want him to win! But
there are some real contenders coming forth and I think this guy Eric is
one to watch. I remember seeing Eric competing with another partner as a
beginner in 04, and then again in 05 in the 39 and under category. Eric
has developed his own trademark style just as Tic and others have; as
they developed into the master steppers they are today. There is room
for others to show us how it can be done! To all the of the "Top Dogs"
of stepping, squeeze a little tighter in the lane and spread the love!
Finally, as for the judging, it's not fair to say that the Tic man and
his partner didn't deserve to place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the contest; they
did. But I think Eric and his partner should have placed as well.
Hey,
I have meetings today so I missed your call. I saw the website, much,
much, better. I have to look at the clips again at home before I vote. I
like Tina's dancing far better than Monique's but I have to look at Tic
vs Eric. I don't know.
Also, I saw Saturday's pics, I could see some strain in your face. I
still think you are dancing too soon. I plan to go hear Max's mom speak
Saturday at church and then I will probably come by the class for a
minute. Sheila says she will meet me there but she wants to dance until
her feet hurt. I think I will be looking way too cute to sweat.
Talk to you soon.

What's Up Bro!
As usual I would like to congratulate you on another successful event.
The Worlds Largest is definitely the premeir event in the history of the
dance. Even though we all may not be satisfied with all of the results ,
patrons, contestants etc. must recognize there is probably about 250
yrs. of experience among the judges panel . Their decisions should be
respected by all of us. It's no different than boxing or any other sport
, contest or event that people go head to head. And everybody knows(if
they were really there) they seen some SPECTACTULAR S@#T ! I know we did
! And we will remain POSITIVE and we'll defintely continue to support
you in all aspects of the steppin ' game and life in general. Life is
Good! Hope you enjoy the cd's. See you at the next set and GODBLESS ! G

Moe,
First let me say THANK YOU for all your help yesterday, I greatly
appreciate it......I did as you said re: the receipt for my ticket and I
got in w/no problem. I got lost a couple times getting there but I made
it!! Attending the contest was my very FIRST experience w/the Steppers
Scene...... I must say that I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the contest &
atmosphere last evening.....It was GREAT!! Now I see what the rave is
all about and understand why people enjoy that style of dance so
much.....I think I have officially caught the steppin bug!
(smile).......I need to dust off your volume 1 steppin video again & get
to practicing some more (LOL)....the last time I watched it...you had me
saying 1...2....3...4...5...6 in my sleep...your voice is engrained in
my head! LMAO
Anyways thanks a lot for keeping me in the loop about what's going on in
the Steppin community....I truly appreciate it.....Living in Madison u
tend to lose touch if you don't have any contacts to keep ya in the
loop!! Can't wait to get the dvd of the contest!!! Have a good remainder
of the weekend!!
PS:...Sorry I didn't get a chance to introduce myself...you walked past
me multiple times last night but you looked so hurried & busy running
back-n-forth so I didn't want to bother ya!

Hey Moe,
Meant to send this e-mail yesterday, but was overwhelmed at work…….
Wanted to say thanks again for hooking me up on Saturday with the
tickets and table…….it was a great set!!!!
You're the Best!!!!
Lynn Mason
Hello Moe, my name is David Hartnett and I am from Los Angeles. We
haven't met, but I am really looking forward to meeting you this weekend
in Oakland. I was told that you will be teaching a workshop Saturday
from 3-5pm, I plan on attending it. I was introduced to stepping three
years ago, but it only been a year and a half since I really started
putting in time and really trying to learn the dance (stepping). I am
currently taken lesson from Tulivu Jadi (MAK3 Los Angeles), who learned
from Dave Maxx (MAK3). Unfortunately Dave doesn't make it to L.A. as
much as he used to, which is bad for me because I really like his style.
Which bring me to why I am writing this e-mail? I found your learn2step
web site by accident a couple of months ago and I started watching your
sample videos. I really like your style and your smooth combinations, so
much so that I signed up for your online class which I think is a
wonderful concept and I don't understand why more instructors don't do
the same. In any case I am looking forward to you showing me some of
your moves in person during the workshop. You take care and have a safe
trip to Oakland and I will see you there.
David
What's Up Bro! Once again you outdone yourself, thanks for the
hospitality. We had a blast! Thanks for straightening out that other
business and the girls liked the table we were at. They can see
everything from there so I guess that's the new spot. Also that was real
clever what you did it was greatly appreciated I'll be in touch. GOD

Hey Moe, what's up.
My name is Marcus, and I am a member of your online step courses.
I'm a grad. student studying in NYC, but I hail from Oklahoma. It
was in Oklahoma where I was introduced to a Southwest form of step,
which sparked my interest in the Chicago Style Step. I love the
videos you post and I'm very impressed by your dancing. I truly
have learned a lot but I have some questions.
1) Why are there two basic counts (the 6 and the 8 count)?
2) What can I do to become a great stepper?
3) You often refer in your videos to moves such as a fake, and a
half-turn. However, I see no videos demonstrating those. Can you
post some?
I would gladly appreciate your responses. Keep doing what you do
man.
Marcus Johnson
What's up bi Marc!
1) In all dance there has been an eight count. Somewhere someone started
the six. I like the six because to me it's a smoother count. However,
there's no difference in the steps. It's all about how your being
taught. I've been to NY and have done workshops. I'll be back in June.
2) Know your basics. The best steppers, have the best timing. Timing is
everything. Helps for a more flawless dance. And remember the dance is
all about the women. The better she looks the better you look. The more
dances you get!
3) Those moves are demonstrated in the instructional part of L2Stv.
Under the six an eight count. Take another look.
Keep on stepping and if you have an questions just hit me up by email or
phone.

bad I have to give J.R. all the credit for teaching me to step. LOL

Hey, it's Michele from your class on Saturday...y'know the SHORT one who
did that right turn she didn't know she did. LOL (Thanks, I needed
that!) I'm emailing as you instructed, sir. :-)
First, I got a lot from the workshop, especially since I didn't have to
leave early to get to work this time. (Hmm, I even practiced a little
this morning...how 'bout that?) Secondly, you were right: I did chicken
out at the social event. (Dang, I have NO secrets!) Now, my initial
intention was to come practice and maybe even steal a few minutes of the
Drill Sergeant's time on the dance floor. Then, when I saw how graceful
people were dancing (you included), I felt intimidated! I know you're
thinking I shouldn't feel that way, that I'm just learning, yadda yadda...
But I'm a bit of an over achiever, so I feel uncomfortable in the public
eye, especially when I feel less than confident. Not EVERYONE is as
comfy in front of a lot of people as you are, Mr. Moe. :)
OK, to make matters worse, I was told that jeans were OK at Martini's.
But obviously the dress code for Steppin' is DRESSED! So I felt a little
out of place. (Who knew?) Well, I'll know next time to get cute; color
me informed! LOL
Lastly, I'm going to the class tomorrow night in DC. (See how much you
inspired me?) Patricia just sent me an email about it (and she's the
best by the way!), so maybe I'll sorta kinda almost be ready to do a
little somethin' with the SEARGENT when he comes back to Maryland. Hey,
would you consider doing a Beginners 2 class, where we newbies could
pick up from where we left off at the first workshop? If so, please let
me know well in advance if you could; I usually work on Saturdays and
would need to clear my schedule. Thanks for coming back, Moe. See you
next time!
Peace&Blessings,

Just a note to let you know
that I thoroughly enjoyed your workshop in Baltimore last month. It was
my first stepping class and I have to commend you on your teaching style
and personality. (That goes a long way!) My only regret was that I had
to leave at the break to go to work; our late start kept me from
experiencing the whole class.
But, I will be there in March...and am bringing a few guy and
girlfriends. I was really hoping there would be one in February, but
Patricia told me that there wouldn't be. She's great, by the way! (I
didn't know that there was an eval form in my envelope but I'll be sure

Great emails to keep everyone up-to-date. Brother Martin here, I wanted
to let you know that I will probably be trying to make it out for your
Wednesday night classes @ 3Gs. This may work out better for my schedule.
Huge compliments to you for what you are doing to take stepping to
another level. I grew up down south (Atlanta) and I get calls all the
time about how stepping is gradually taking over the ATL scene. Keep up
the great work you are doing for humanity. Signing Out.

Hey Moe!
It was great seeing you again and the workshop was fun for me because I
got a chance to work with you one on one which was not an easy task for
me (smile). Be that as it may, I did learn something.
Now the social dance at Martinis was a totally different story. When I
have to socially dance with you I'm so nervous because I know EVERYONE
is watching YOU. And because I have NO self-confidence about stepping I
just freeze up and as a result of that I get all out of step and feel
like I can't step AT ALL. I thank you for asking me to dance and I
apologize for it not being a good dance for you.
Can you please give me Nicky's email address. She had planned to give
that to me before I left and I forgot to ask her.
Hola back!

Hello Cynthia! It was great dancing with you also. You did fine at
Martinis. We all get nervous. You where fine though. I look forward to

you enjoyed the workshop. I'll be back soon. Until then, keep on

Good morning Moe,
Wanted to let you know that I received the "Volume I Learn2Step DVD." I
was taking classes with Cheryl and Devan; "Steppin Out," and was having
the most difficult time learning. You referred me to Doc and I went once
and caught on. I felt guilty not going back to Cheryl and discussed my
issues that I had with her class, Chery asked me to give them a chance.
Well, as of January 20th I have gone back to Doc and that's where I plan
on staying. Thank you so much for referring me to Doc and your DVD helps
a lot when I am not in class.
I think Doc said you were coming here in March or May? I look forward to
seeing you. I will be coming home to Chicago in March, I asked my cousin
Pam if I could attend one of your classes with her while I was there.
Look forward to seeing you.
Take care.

Hi Moe,
My two girlfriends and I came to your class on the 18th of November. You
were absent this day, however, Darren took us under his wings in your
absence. I want to give big props to him because he was patient with the
three of us and we learned so much more in that 1 class than we did in
several classes in Detroit. Everyone was friendly and they made us feel
comfortable and welcomed, not inadequate and clumsy!!( LOL) Just wanted
to let you know we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we're looking
forward to coming back soon. Big shot outs to Darren, Michael, Smooth,
Bobby, Pamela and Angie they really helped us out a lot!!
Thanks,
Tasha

We still work together when time permits. He's doing the real estate

been doing them for me. However, I'll be there this week:-)

Hi Moe,
Just wanted to drop you a note to say a BIG THANK YOU to you and Nikki!!
Thank you, I learned so much, and can't wait for our class on Thursday.
You all were awesome… And another BIG THANK YOU to Ms Mary for
organizing everything.
It was wonderful to see so many new faces show up for the workshops.
We all we'll be looking forward to your return in January.

Moe,
Thanks to you Linda and Pedro for hanging in there for both classes. And
you thought that you could only handle one. The next one is going to be
bigger and better.
Thanks to Meany Moe. I do look forward to having you back in January.

Hey, Moe:
Will you be in Chicago this weekend? I am coming up on Friday morning
and will be in town until Monday morning.....Would love to get a lesson
in with you. If you'll be in Seattle, who's teaching your class at 3-G's
on Saturday?
Thanks and Take Care,
Ms Mary

Hey Moe
It was a pleasure to help to host you on
Saturday. I can tell you were probably in the marines. Even though I've
only had 2 other occassions to take a workshop class on steppin, yours
by far was the most productive (beginner's class) bootcamp I've ever
seen (smile).
You take care of business well. I had asked about the difference between
6 and 8 count. I asked that question because since I am just beginning
to learn the dance or try to learn it - I did not want to be "wedded" to
the 8 count if I can learn the 6 - most dances are on a 6 count and it
seemed it may be easier for me to follow. I appreciate that you can
teach and are willing to teach both counts. Anyway, it was a rewarding
experience and I look forward to learning the dance. and to see you and
your students in November.

coming to your class this coming Saturday.
